Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. – El gobernador Américo Villarreal Anaya encabezó la reunión preparatoria para el Quinto Congreso Nacional de Actividades Espaciales 2024, que se celebrará los días 7 y 8 de noviembre en el recinto Mundo Nuevo, de la ciudad de Matamoros.
En la reunión participaron de forma presencial y virtual el doctor Salvador Landeros, director de la Agencia Espacial Mexicana (AEM); funcionarios federales y estatales; el alcalde electo de Matamoros, Alberto Granados; el diputado Gustavo Cárdenas y organizadores del Congreso.
El evento reunirá a expertos, académicos, estudiantes y empresarios del sector espacial, con el objetivo de difundir los avances relacionados con el desarrollo del sector en México.
Este suceso pondrá a Tamaulipas en el radar mundial y generará una derrama económica por los servicios prestados a los participantes, dijo el gobernador Villarreal Anaya, quien agradeció a la AEM por seleccionar a Matamoros como sede de este importante acontecimiento.
El doctor Landeros, director de la AEM, agradeció al gobernador Américo Villarreal y al alcalde de Matamoros, Alberto Granados, el apoyo brindado para hacer realidad la citada convención.
En la reunión preparatoria también estuvieron: el secretario de Turismo, Benjamín Hernández; el secretario de Obras Públicas, Pedro Cepeda; el Jefe de la Oficina del Ejecutivo Estatal, Ricardo Guerrero y el Rector de la UAT, Dámaso Anaya Alvarado.
