El ex Presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador se despidió esta mañana con un video en el que aseguró que, durante su mandato, se dedicó a servir.
«Me dediqué a servir al pueblo y lo hice con mucho amor. Y se puede gobernar bien cuando se tiene como propósito el servir al pueblo. Eso es lo mejor y eso es una gran satisfacción.
«En el balance, yo tengo que dar gracias al creador, gracias a la naturaleza y, sobre todo, gracias a la vida», expresó.
A través de sus redes sociales, el tabasqueño se reconoció como un hombre necio que se va con la conciencia tranquila y sin tristeza.
«Me voy a ir con mi conciencia tranquila y muy contenta. No me voy triste, además de que estoy cerrando mi ciclo después de muchos años de lucha, porque vaya que qué tercos fuimos, ¿eh? Necios», expresó.
«Agradecidos de todos los pueblos de México por su confianza, por su apoyo, por su respaldo, por su respeto. Y nunca olvidar con el pueblo todo, sin el pueblo, nada».
En el mensaje, con imágenes de sus giras y recorridos por el País, el ex Mandatario federal insistió en que dejó el cargo con la misión cumplida.
«Cuando esté entregando la Banda presidencial solo diré a los cuatro vientos, misión cumplida. Me voy a Palenque, les dejo mi corazón», expresó.
«Es indispensable seguir luchando para fortalecer lo alcanzado y continuar construyendo una patria nueva, generosa, eterna. Me retiro con el orgullo y el honor de haber servido a un pueblo bueno, trabajador, inteligente, fraterno, heredero de grandes virtudes y valores de los antiguos mexicanos».
El video cierra con las imágenes de López Obrador saludando por última vez la bandera de la escolta militar y saliendo de Palacio Nacional.
Este martes, el tabasqueño entregará la Banda presidencial a su sucesora, Claudia Sheinbaum.
