Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- El Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (DIF) de Tamaulipas, que preside la doctora María de Villarreal, ha atendido en el último año a 168 mil 930 niñas y niños, a través de los diferentes programas, estrategias y apoyos coordinados de manera integral, con calidad y calidez, buscando siempre su bienestar dentro del entorno en el que se desarrollan.
A través del programa de Desayunos Escolares de la Dirección de Programas Alimentarios, se proporciona una ración de desayuno caliente a 105 mil 676 niñas, niños y adolescentes, sumando 24 millones 384 mil 854 raciones de alimento entregadas tan solo en un año en 2 mil 417 planteles educativos de los 43 municipios.
Además de canastas alimentarias a cada uno de los beneficiarios para que consuman el desayuno escolar en su casa durante los periodos vacacionales de verano y navidad; mientras que los programas Voluntad de Ayudar en los Primeros 1,000 días y Ayudar a las Familias lograron atender a más de mil 200 menores de edad con dotaciones alimentarias.
La Dirección de Fortalecimiento Familiar brinda atención a poco más de 8 mil menores, por medio de los Centros de Cuidado Diario Infantil (CECUDI), Centros de Asistencia Infantil Comunitarios (CAIC) y Guarderías Infantiles, donde se les asiste con protección, cuidado diario y atención integral, a través de acciones educativas y asistenciales, así como del Centro PANNARTI y la Red Estatal de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes Impulsores de la Transformación.
Además este año se llevó a cabo el evento DIFzania para conmemorar el Día de la Familia, así como el Día del Niño, el cual se replicó en diversos municipios de Tamaulipas; tan sólo en Victoria la celebración rompió récord al registrar la asistencia de más de 18 mil personas, la mayoría niñas y niños, quienes disfrutaron de juegos, actividades recreativas y culturales.
Por otra parte, la Dirección de Atención a Población Prioritaria, ha beneficiado a 3 mil 841 menores con atenciones médicas generales y de especialidad, nutrición, psicología, aparatos funcionales y proyectos comunitarios dentro de la estrategia Lazos del Bienestar.
Mientras que en el Centro de Rehabilitación y Educación Especial (CREE) se atendieron a 2 mil 257 niñas y niños con algún servicio o apoyo en las áreas de valoración médica, terapia y estimulación temprana, además de becas y la dotación Lazos de Esperanza, aunado a los servicios del Centro de Autismo (CATAM).
A través de la Procuraduría de Protección de Niñas, Niños, Adolescentes y Familia se ha brindado asistencia a cerca de 50 mil menores con atención psicológica, restitución de derechos, representación legal, además de resguardo y gestiones para su ingreso y permanencia en Centros de Atención Infantil; además de la atención de procedimientos migratorios de niñas, niños y adolescentes acompañados y no acompañados extranjeros en situación de movilidad con mayor grado de vulnerabilidad.
Con estas acciones, los Mensajeros de Paz intensifican sus esfuerzos, priorizando la atención de la infancia tamaulipeca, velando por sus derechos fundamentales y trabajando por mejorar sus condiciones de bienestar.
