Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. – El Gobierno del Estado trabaja para que el personal de enfermería tenga cada vez mejores condiciones laborales, mayor certeza en sus trabajos y mejores oportunidades de llevar un beneficio económico a su familia a través del noble desempeño de su profesión, afirmó el gobernador Américo Villarreal Anaya.
Al conmemorar el Día Internacional de la Enfermería, en el marco de la ceremonia cívica de honores, este lunes en el patio central de Palacio de Gobierno, el gobernador reiteró su reconocimiento y felicitación a las y los compañeros de esta noble profesión de la enfermería, una de las más humanistas, dijo, y aseguró que la enfermera es ahora una profesional de la salud.
“La enfermera ya no es una colaboradora del médico, la enfermera es una profesional de la salud y tiene sus ámbitos de responsabilidad y competencia de igual importancia y magnitud que la que tiene el médico y por eso yo las felicito, porque siempre han sabido estar presentes y que con su dedicación, entusiasmo, preparación y profesionalismo han podido ser ahora una dignificación de esta gran profesión de enfermería”, dijo.
El mandatario tamaulipeco destacó que, tal como lo menciona el lema de la conmemoración de este día, es fundamental la acción de la enfermería en la economía social y en la economía de nuestro país al mejorar las oportunidades de calidad de vida y en la atención de nuestra población con enfermedades crónico-degenerativas.
“Siempre están ahí los corazones blancos atentos a asumir responsabilidades y retos para mejorar las condiciones de salud de nuestra población, y ahora lo vemos con programas que también están al frente como los de vida saludable o programas de detección oportuna del cáncer, con programas oportunos para llevar salud casa por casa y son esenciales su presencia y su participación”, mencionó.

El secretario de Salud, Vicente Joel Hernández Navarro, destacó que, gracias a su visión profundamente humanista, el gobernador Américo Villarreal, desde el inicio de su administración, asumió un compromiso claro con la dignificación de la enfermería, no como una acción simbólica, sino con una decisión de justicia, de reconocimiento a su relevancia y de fortalecimiento del sistema de salud. Y gracias a esa convicción, Tamaulipas se ha convertido en la única entidad del país que ha creado una Subsecretaría de Enfermería encabezada por mujeres y hombres formados en el área clínica.
“Esta decisión representa mucho más que una estructura administrativa, es un acto de reconocimiento permanente al papel esencial que desempeñan las enfermeras y enfermeros en la salud pública, en la atención especializada, en las áreas directivas y en la construcción cotidiana de un sistema de salud más humano y cercano a las personas”, dijo.
Al felicitar a las y los enfermeros, Hernández Navarro aseguró que, gracias a su esfuerzo diario, se han reconstruido servicios abandonados, se han erradicado innecesarias burocracias y se ha recuperado el carácter público de la salud. “Y en todo ese proceso, quienes ejercen la noble labor de la enfermería han estado ahí, al frente, sosteniendo la atención, organizando el cuidado, enseñando, previniendo y acompañando la lesión”, afirmó.

A nombre de todo el gremio de la enfermería en Tamaulipas, la subsecretaria Irma Barragán Alvarado recordó que este año, el Día Internacional de la Enfermería lleva como lema: “Nuestras enfermeras. Nuestro futuro. Cuidando de las enfermeras fortalecemos la economía», y agradeció al gobernador Américo Villarreal por respaldar al personal de enfermería y reconocer que son pilares fundamentales para el funcionamiento del Sistema Nacional de Salud.
Agregó que en nuestro estado se están construyendo cimientos sólidos para escalar la calidad en los servicios de salud y bienestar del pueblo de Tamaulipas, y la enfermería ha madurado y experimentado un desarrollo vertiginoso con un nivel de licenciatura, pero también de acceso a diferentes posgrados y especialidades, y ahora al doctorado, lo que ha permitido tener un desarrollo muy importante para enfrentar los retos epidemiológicos actuales.
“Señor gobernador, quiero agradecerle por siempre creer en las enfermeras y en los enfermeros, cuente con nosotros para seguir transformando Tamaulipas, que nada lo detenga en su firme determinación para heredar a las generaciones futuras un sistema de salud a la altura de los mejores”, expresó.
Durante la ceremonia cívica, el juramento a la bandera estuvo a cargo de Diana Karina Pedraza Muñoz, mientras que Blanca Azucena Compeán Barrón y Azucena Moreno Rocha dieron lectura a las efemérides de la semana.
También acompañaron al gobernador en esta ceremonia cívica: Héctor Joel Villegas González, secretario general de Gobierno; diputada Cynthia Jaime Castillo, presidenta de la Mesa Directiva del Congreso; diputado Víctor Manuel García Fuentes, presidente de la Comisión de Salud; magistrado Hernán de la Garza Tamez, presidente del Supremo Tribunal de Justicia; general Enrique García Jaramillo, comandante de la 48 Zona Militar, y el general Francisco Alvarado Terán, coordinador de la Guardia Nacional en Tamaulipas, además de funcionarios del gabinete estatal y personal de enfermería de diferentes unidades médicas.
