Con una inversión de 8 millones 426 mil 216 pesos, el Gobierno Municipal de Nuevo Laredo inauguró la 11ª Clínica Une en la colonia Valles de Anáhuac, que llevará el nombre del distinguido médico Dr. Mario Alberto Pérez Coss, en homenaje a su incansable labor en el ámbito de la salud, la docencia y el servicio público.
La presidenta municipal Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal señaló que la nueva Clínica UNE “Dr. Mario Alberto Pérez Coss”, también estará habilitada como centro comunitario, y tiene como objetivo principal ofrecer atención médica de calidad, accesible, humana y profesional, beneficiando a cientos de familias del sector.
“Este es un espacio que se necesitaba en la colonia, ahora van a tener un espacio de salud, lo hicimos con mucho compromiso y amor para las familias del sector, esta clínica lleva el nombre del doctor Coss como un homenaje a su trayectoria. Ahora tendrán más cerca de ustedes la facilidad de consulta médica, de toma de signos, de consulta dental y sobre todo talleres de oficio”, destacó la presidenta.
Durante la ceremonia de inauguración, se destacó que este dispensario médico se suma a una red de clínicas municipales que reafirman la convicción de que la salud de las y los neolaredenses es prioridad para el Gobierno Municipal.
Los servicios que ofrecerá la clínica UNE son consultas médicas generales, atención dental y psicológica, servicios de enfermería, farmacia, revisión de niveles de glucosa, toma de presión arterial, aplicación de inyecciones, curaciones, expedición de certificados médicos en un horario de lunes a viernes de 8:30 a.m. a 3:30 p.m.
Además de los servicios médicos, el espacio ha sido rehabilitado como centro de desarrollo comunitario, donde se impartirán talleres para fomentar el autoempleo y el crecimiento personal de los vecinos del sector.
Los talleres que se impartirán serán en el Barber Shop que iniciará este 29 de mayo con horario de jueves y viernes, de 8:00 a.m. a 11:00 a.m. así como taller de Inglés I.
Los interesados en los talleres deben cumplir con los siguientes requisitos: Tener mínimo 15 años cumplidos, acta de nacimiento, CURP, último grado de estudios, comprobante de domicilio (no mayor a 3 meses), INE, 1 fotografía tamaño infantil y el pago de una cuota administrativa de 100 pesos que incluye certificado.
En esta inauguración estuvo presente la familia del doctor Mario Alberto Pérez Coss, médico cirujano por la UNAM y especialista en traumatología y ortopedia. Se desempeñó en cargos clave como Director Médico del Hospital General de Nuevo Laredo y jefe de sección en el ISSSTE. Además, fue profesor en reconocidas instituciones como la UAG, la UNAM y la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo.
Su legado perdura en la medicina, la educación y el servicio público, siendo recordado por su profesionalismo, humanidad y gran calidad técnica
