Cdmx.- El Senado de la República cerró su actividad legislativa con la aprobación de la Ley General del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública y la Ley del Sistema Nacional de Investigación e Inteligencia en materia de seguridad pública, para fortalecer la coordinación con las entidades federativas y municipios, así como atender regiones prioritarias a partir del Gabinete de Seguridad Pública.
La senadora por Tamaulipas Olga Sosa Ruíz informó que el Sistema Nacional de Investigación e Inteligencia representa el corazón operativo de la Estrategia Nacional de Seguridad trazada por la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, bajo cuatro ejes principales, en el que destaca la atención de causas, la labor preventiva y la permanente coordinación con autoridades, “Ya no hablaremos de esfuerzos fragmentados sino de una verdadera coordinación” dijo, además se podrán recibir reportes de emergencia y denuncias anónimas.
El sistema tendrá dentro de sus funciones generar inteligencia táctica y estratégica para que las autoridades de seguridad actúen bajo mecanismos claros de control civil y judicial, que permitan el actual de las autoridades de seguridad pública con apego a los derechos humanos, dejando claro que no existen instrumentos de espionaje.
La implementación del Sistema Nacional de Inteligencia podrá integrar información generada por las fuerzas armadas, la guardia nacional, policías estatales y fiscalías de los estados.
Las nuevas leyes aprobadas reconocen las atribuciones de las entidades federativas para determinar sus propias estrategias en función de la Estrategia Nacional, para coordinar las mesas de paz, definir los programas de prevención de la violencia y fortalecer el Estado de Derecho en el territorio.
La senadora Olga Sosa señaló “cerrar el periodo con las reformas de seguridad pública confirman el compromiso de la Cuarta Transformación con la construcción de paz a través de herramientas eficaces, legales y modernas en todo el territorio nacional.”
Durante el primer periodo extraordinario de sesiones de la sexagésima sexta legislatura se aprobaron reformas en materia de seguridad pública, simplificación administrativa, telecomunicaciones, personas desaparecidas, protección de vida silvestre y mujeres históricas.
