Matamoros, Tamaulipas. – Este sábado 2 de agosto, a las 11:00 horas, el gobernador Américo Villarreal Anaya encabezará el inicio de operaciones del Puerto Norte de Matamoros, un suceso estratégico para la transformación logística, económica y comercial de la región fronteriza.
El evento se llevará a cabo en las instalaciones del muelle y contará con la presencia de autoridades de los tres órdenes de gobierno, representantes de la Secretaría de Marina, así como destacados invitados del sector empresarial.
Como parte del acto inaugural, se realizará una prueba de maniobras con el arribo del buque “Integrador”, propiedad de la empresa Mota Engil México, proveniente de Panamá, el cual marcará el inicio formal de la actividad portuaria.
Durante la ceremonia, la Secretaría de Marina realizará una entrega simbólica del recinto portuario al Gobierno de Tamaulipas y se llevarán a cabo las tradicionales acciones náuticas que honran este tipo de eventos, como el encendido de la sirena marítima, el lanzamiento de chorros de agua y el acostumbrado protocolo por la partida del barco.
Con esta acción, Tamaulipas reafirma su compromiso con el desarrollo regional, el fortalecimiento de la infraestructura portuaria y la apertura de nuevas rutas para el comercio y la inversión.
