CDMX -Al participar en el Foro Nacional de Energía organizado por el Senado de la República, la senadora de Morena Olga Patricia Sosa Ruíz, señaló que durante los primeros 10 meses de este gobierno, la soberanía energética ha sido parte fundamental del segundo piso de la cuarta transformación, un tema de gran relevancia que contempla la participación de la iniciativa privada, como un actor estratégico para el desarrollo de proyectos innovadores.
«Este foro representa una oportunidad invaluable para compartir y escuchar perspectivas y argumentos de reconocidos especialistas, empresas líderes en innovación que enriquecerán el debate y contribuirán a consolidar un modelo energético, que además de impulsar el desarrollo económico también genere autosuficiencia energética y sustentabilidad ambiental»
Destacó que el estado de Tamaulipas es una pieza clave con la implementación de la nueva reforma energética, porque se tiene la oportunidad de consolidar la rectoría del estado sobre el sector y garantizar el abasto con criterios de sustentabilidad, justicia social y visión de futuro.
Explicó que Tamaulipas concentra una de las mayores reservas de gas natural del país, tiene una larga tradición petrolera en tierra y mar, además que alberga infraestructura de alto valor estratégico, una refinería, centros procesadores de gas y nódulos logísticos que conectan con los mercados del noreste y del Golfo de México.
Se refirió también al proyecto Trion que marca un antes y un después al ser el primer campo de aguas profundas desarrollado por una empresa estatal mexicana en alianza internacional y representa el tipo de proyectos que deben impulsarse con contenido nacional.
En su participación la senadora Olga Sosa Ruíz señaló que también hay retos que se deben enfrentar con orden, certidumbre y responsabilidad en el denominado Plan Pemex, destacando que hay que producir con una visión de soberanía energética, generando capacidades propias y reduciendo la dependencia tecnológica y logística.
Por su parte el director de Pemex, Víctor Rodríguez Padilla, hizo un balance de la política energética del gobierno de la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo y destacó el Plan Estratégico 2025-2035, que contempla un nuevo rumbo hacia el fortalecimiento productivo, reducción de emisiones, responsabilidad social y solidez financiera.
Sosa Ruíz agradeció a la senadora Laura Itzel Castillo presidenta de la Comisión de Energía del Senado y destacó su compromiso en la construcción de consensos, que logren la aprobación de la reforma constitucional y con esto recuperar el carácter público de las empresas estratégicas del estado.
