En los últimos meses, se han registrado serios problemas de circulación, en la Autopista Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo, debido a los graves retrasos que sufren los usuarios de esta importante vía de comunicación, retrasos que en ocasiones superan las cuatro horas de duración.
La vía de 194 kilómetros de extensión, entre la ciudad de Monterrey y la fronteriza Nuevo Laredo, está concesionada a dos empresas, las cuales deben cumplir al pie de la letra con las obligaciones que les impone su título de concesión, otorgado por la Secretaría de Infraestructura, Comunicaciones y Transportes.
El primer tramo de la vía Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo se concesionó a la empresa Operadora de Autopistas del Noreste y comprende del kilómetro 22+700 al km 145+000. En el segundo tramo de la vía, este está concesionado a la empresa Operadora de la Sultana y comprende del kilómetro 145+000 al 194+000.
Cabe destacar que el problema se ha ubicado en el primer tramo concesionado a la empresa Operadora de Autopistas del Noreste, la cual, desde hace varios meses, realiza trabajos de rehabilitación, reduciendo su operación a sólo un carril de los cuatro que debería tener al servicio de los usuarios, lo que genera interminables cuellos de botella en una carretera de muy alta circulación. Asimismo, su plaza de cobro tiene serios problemas operativos, lo que genera largas filas de vehículos.
Mientras tanto, Operadora de la Sultana se ha distingudo en los últimos años por ofrecer un servicio de alta calidad a sus usuarios.
En los próximos días, será inaugurada la ANAM, la Agencia Nacional de Aduanas de México, y en este sentido, la Autopista Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo es un tramo estratégico para la movilidad social, pero sobre todo para la economía de nuestro país y por ello, las autoridades competentes deben vigilar que Operadora de Autopistas del Noreste cumpla escrupulosamente con lo que la obliga su titulo de concesión, con calidad, fluidez y eficiencia en beneficio de los usuarios, en una vía carretera que es tan importante para el país.
