Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- Un grupo de mujeres vandalizó y prendió fuego en la puerta principal del Palacio de Gobierno, en Ciudad Victoria, durante una marcha que realizaron para celebrar el Día Internacional de la Mujer.
Las mujeres marcharon por varias calles de la ciudad, y concluyeron su movilización frente al Palacio de Gobierno, donde llevaron a cabo pintas del edificio con descripción de algunas leyendas que exigían respeto a sus derechos.
Portaban también cartulinas con mensajes claros de rechazo hacia quienes ellas consideran son el principal orquestador de la violencia.
Los policías que resguardan el acceso principal del Palacio de Gobierno, lograron cerrar la enorme puerta de acero, lo que impidió que ingresaran y provocaran destrozos en el interior del inmueble.
Una vez frente al edificio del Palacio de Gobierno, las mujeres lanzaron gritos de consignas y reclamos hacia la autoridad, y exigieron a los reporteros que cubrían la protesta, no grabar el momento cuando prenderían fuego a la entrada principal del edificio, sin embargo, los comunicadores no dejaron de transmitir en vivo todo el acontecimiento y logran captar el momento justo cuando estalla el fuego frente a la puerta, que logran sofocar los guardias con extintores.
Además de las pintas que dejaron en el edificio, también dañaron con pintura monumentos que se ubican en la plaza Juárez, y en la calle Alberto Carrera Torres, donde se ubica la estatua del general Pedro José Méndez.
