Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- En un ambiente de inclusión y creatividad, el Sistema DIF Tamaulipas, que preside la doctora María de Villarreal, celebró el concurso de modas “Talento Artesanal”, con la participación de alumnas y alumnos de la escuela “Camino de Luz”, quienes presentaron sus propias colecciones de bolsas artesanales elaboradas con técnicas de macramé y crochet.
Este evento forma parte de las acciones que el DIF Tamaulipas impulsa para fomentar el desarrollo productivo de las personas con discapacidad visual, brindándoles herramientas reales para integrarse al entorno social y generar ingresos con base en sus habilidades.
La directora general del DIF Tamaulipas, Patricia Eugenia Lara Ayala, refrendó el compromiso del organismo estatal de seguir respaldando iniciativas que eleven la calidad de vida de este sector de la población. Asimismo, reconoció el esfuerzo y talento de cada participante, destacando que estos espacios no solo visibilizan sus capacidades, sino que abren puertas al emprendimiento.
Durante el evento se presentaron 12 marcas de bolsas de mano, desarrolladas por igual número de estudiantes de la escuela “Camino de Luz”, la cual ofrece rehabilitación integral a personas con discapacidad visual y débiles visuales.
La marca ganadora del concurso fue BexiArt, de la artesana Bethsaida Gabriela de los Reyes Lara, quien recibió como premio el apoyo para el registro de su marca, un estímulo económico y la exhibición de sus productos en “Casa Colibrí”, un espacio de promoción artesanal.
Como parte del respaldo interinstitucional, la Secretaría de Economía de Tamaulipas también ofreció a todos los concursantes el acceso a herramientas de capacitación, fortalecimiento y promoción para consolidar sus marcas, impulsando así su desarrollo como emprendedores.
Con eventos como este, los Mensajeros de Paz del DIF Tamaulipas reafirman su labor como motor de inclusión, desarrollo y emprendimiento de las personas con discapacidad en el estado.
